About the event

Maybe as you go about your life you sometimes feel a yearning for something, and it's hard to say what it is.  Many of us find ourselves asking "is this all there is?"   You may know, at some level, that this can't be all there is, but not have any idea how to access what else is there.

Or you might find that you just want to be real, but don't know what thay means.

If you explore what it is you are yearning for, maybe you find different words for it—depth, being real, true knowledge, wisdom, peace, freedom, awakening, something definite...  Moving toward the reality that's deeper than the usual conventional experience is what is usually called spiritual practice, or 'the work'. But how do we do that now?

Many people feel the longing, but don't act on it, because they doubt that it's possible in modern life, or possible for them, or they think that nobody else feels the same way.

Some of us assume that the inner journey means we have to take on a new religion, join a cult, or put aside our rational mind.

Some of us might wonder, when it comes to the reality of being human, if anyone knows what they are talking about. Who can I trust? How does it work anyway?

This event is an introduction to the Diamond Approach, a contemporary spiritual path for those with a longing to be real, to know the deeper dimensions of themselves and reality, while living a full human life in the world.

It's a chance to hear how this path works, what it requires, and who it is suited for. It's an opportunity to meet a teacher and some current long term students, ask questions, experience a taste of the path and its practices, to basically test it out a little, and see if you resonate.

This is a free event. All are welcome. The Diamond Approach is open to anyone interested in sincerely exploring their experience to discover its inner truth.
